| Here are a couple of their stories: I had a client named Andrew who was in his 30's who wanted to buy a co-op. He was living like a nomad; some days at his parents', some nights sleeping on his friend's living room floor, and some time sleeping at the bar where he worked parttime to supplement his income. He decided his life needed a complete overhaul and it had to start with buying his own place. I found him a great co-op with an easy commute to work. On the day of the closing, he had his first shipment of Nurtisystem delivered. He started working out, losing weight and getting his life in order. He got a big promotion at work and started dating a fantastic woman who lived nearby. That Christmas, they got engaged. Within 18 months they got married, bought a house and had a baby. And it all started with that decision to move. In contrast, my client Judy was burdened with an old house that was much too big for her. All the expenses; heating, landscaping, taxes; were a constant drain on her income. At the end of every month she never had money for anything aside from the house. Worse still were the looming costs of replacing the old kitchen appliances, furnace, hot water heater and central air system that were all living on borrowed time. She figured it was time to downsize. I found her a lovely, maintenance-free condo with new appliances and mechanicals. Plus I listed her house and we received an accepted offer in 17 days. Suddenly the stress was gone and she was able to sleep through the night. With more money available she could finally start taking care of herself. She could afford health insurance, a gym membership (where she lost 37 pounds) and a whole new wardrobe. Every time I ask her how she's doing, she just says, "Ahhhhh."
